New York City is GO DREAM’s home base in the US, and while we love it, sometimes you have to take a break from the constant sensory overload. What better place to zoom out than on one of the city’s many rooftop terraces? With the skyline unfolding right at your eye level, it’s almost guaranteed you’ll get hit with a wave of romantic appreciation for this place. Rooftops are the perfect place for a cinematic, movie-montage moment, so give yourself that, “Wow, I’m really in New York!” feeling like you just stepped into an episode of Sex and the City.
Whether it’s to take a breather from the hustle and bustle, grab a bite to eat, or enjoy a cocktail, there’s an amazing rooftop hidden gem just for you, with your own little slice of the Manhattan skyline to savor.
Here’s the list of my top 10 personal favorite rooftops in New York City.
Up on the 26th floor of the historic Beekman Tower, Ophelia offers cocktails and delicious snacks in over-the-top opulence. The building was constructed in 1928, and throughout the years has been a muse for famous guests like Frank Sinatra. Now you can enjoy a drink surrounded by massive stained-glass windows and jewel-tone interiors that are sure to remind you of this building’s glamorous old New York roots.

Plus, they have terrace movie nights on Sundays—The Big Lebowski is the movie in September, and it’s bound to be so much better when you can sit on a rooftop and sip a White Russian along with The Dude.
